Kari combines three decades of working in the field of estate and trust administration in private law firms, the Offices of the Commissioner of Accounts, public accounting, and banking. She assists clients with all matters related to the administration process and offers a personal approach. Every estate is different and each client has needs that are unique to their situation. Kari works closely with her attorneys to meet the needs of each client in a timely and proficient manner. One of Kari’s primary goals is to make the administration process seamless and smooth so that clients can find closure.
The administration process includes probate, preparing accountings, working with financial advisors, auction companies and real estate agents to sell, transfer, and distribute assets, assisting with bill pay, preparing and filing fiduciary income tax returns and estate tax returns, and acting as a liaison between the attorneys, other professionals, the courts, and clients.
Kari is actively involved in volunteer work and strives to assist families who cannot afford to hire professional help. Her most recent volunteer work includes helping people in her community with budgeting and organization. Kari has volunteered with many charitable and civic organizations, including Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue, Comfort Zone Camp, Elder Friends, Atlee Little League and SCAN (Stop Child Abuse Now). Kari also enjoys competing in triathlons and mountain biking with her dog.
